EUREKA — November 2, 2026. Eureka’s Public Works Department offers an online EyeOnWater dashboard through which municipal water customers can track consumption and request alerts for unusual usage.
What newer meters can show
The city is replacing older radio-read meters with cellular-based equipment. Properties with upgraded meters can access more frequent usage data and monitor trends that might suggest running toilets, pipe leaks or unusual irrigation.
Not every account has hourly data
The city cautions that cellular conversion is taking place over time. Customers with older meters can still see some usage information, but their alerts may be sent only monthly when readings are taken.
How to register
Residents can use eyeonwater.com/signup to create an account and contact Eureka Public Works at 707-441-4203 with questions. An online leak alert is a warning, not a diagnosis of which pipe or fixture needs repair.
